While walking home on 50th Street, I saw a lady with her adorable shaggy dog that looked liked an oversized pomeranian. Then I approached the lady to asked if I can take her dog's picture for a website, she answered jokingly, "You can have her." She let go of the leash and walked away. For a minute, I thought I was going to have a dog instantly. I saw that she only went to the trash to throw something.
Meanwhile, this fury dog looked at me and slumped on the ground. The lady came back and said, "Timba sit!". She sat for a second but kept looking at her. Then I stooped down to take her photo but she kept moving really close to me with her back facing away. It was a challenge to take Timba's photo so I decided to extend my arm and face the camera towards the dog while she was sitting next to me.
What breed is she?
Keeshond. They are the national dog of Holland. They are watch dogs.
Where did you get her?
I bought her in Michigan. I drove there to find her. They don't breed too many of them.
It was the first time I've ever seen a Keeshond. What I don't get is Timba being a watch dog because she seemed laid-back and very friendly. Maybe trespassers will change their mind when they see how cute she is!
