Twins? Not Really.
There were two chocolate mini schnauzers who look like twins at first glance. But then I discovered from their guardian Joey, that one is a 6-year old female and the male is only 10 months old. I asked Joey some more questions:
NYCLovesPets: What are their names?
Joey: Sandy and Gayge.
NYCLP: Gauge? Like a tire gauge? How do you spell it?
Joey: No. It's G-A-Y-G-E. Cause he's got two gay daddies.
And we both laughed. Then a lady passed by and said, "Oh the twins."
NCLYP: Which one is Sandy? I can't tell them apart, they are wearing the same collar too.
Joey: Yeah, Gayge is wearing a little girl pink one. We didn't get him a new one after Lexy passed away. We had a jet-black mini schnauzer and she passed away suddenly. Sandy got depressed and we got her a little companion.
NCLYP: What are they like?
Joey: Sandy is very well-behaved. But when she gets excited, she runs in circles. Gayge is so friendly that he scares other animals because he howls and cries. He can also be mischievous because if you leave him alone, he finds something and you don't even know it's there.
Upon closer inspection, Sandy is slightly bigger than Gayge. And they have different personalities.
