Lady Is The Cutest Dog I've Ever Seen

More Photos of Lady:

A little over a year ago, Adam adopted a rescue dog.  She is a Chihuahua and a Basenji mix.

What's Lady like, what's her personality?

She's extremely outgoing and affectionate. She loves people. She's not a huge fan of other dogs, but she loves almost every person that she meets. Loves to snuggle, loves to be under the covers with people. She's very energetic, loves to play. But also happy just sacking out on the sofa when you are watching tv, and laying like that for hours.

Is she your first dog?

I had a dog growing up. And then 15 years ago, I found an abandoned puppy tied up outside my apartment. And I brought her in just for the night. But I wound up keeping her for a year until I found a family for her in New Jersey.

So what made you decide after all these years to get one?

I was working from home for the first time in my life. And I finally realize that I had a lifestyle that would allow me the freedom to have a dog and spend time with the dog. And I had a breakup that ended really badly and I was ready for companionship.

Why did you pick Lady out of all the dogs in the shelter?

She was the cutest dog I've ever seen, and she was extremely friendly and affectionate right off the bat. I also thought she was the perfect size for my apartment. She's about 25 pounds.

Maybe lady luck put Adam and Lady together because they definitely look happy.
