More Photos of Ghost:

Muhammad and his animal companion Ghost just got out of Clinton DeWitt dog run when I asked them for an interview. He was waiting for his friend Uj and her pet Rani Waffles, who was at the adjacent dog run for small dogs.

Why did you name him Ghost? Is it because he is all white?

That and his face is a bit more gray and he has black points.

What's he like at night?

Usually, when he is tired, which I tried to get him almost everyday. We come here and go for a walk. He' knocked out. He sleeps in the bed with me, either on the foot of my bed or on the other side.

Is he a French poodle?

He's a standard poodle. Poodles come in three sizes: toy, miniature and standard.

Why did you pick a poodle?

They're very smart. I like to watch my dog play outside. They can run with you and do other things with you.

Would you recommend a poodle?

Oh yeah! They are so smart! He knows so much already. Other than sit, stay, come here, he knows that if I snap my fingers, he needs to stop doing what he's doing and look at me. He's really great! I love him!

I petted Ghost on the head and he seemed calm and good-natured. If Casper the friendly ghost had a dog, I would imagine it would be a poodle named Ghost.

And if all ghosts were like Ghost, the Ghost Busters would be jobless. And everyone would say "I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost!".
