Joel was walking his pug Bosley on 32nd Street, when I stopped them for an interview.
Why did you name him Bosley?
His face just looks like a Bosley. He just has a goofy face.
Where did you get him?
The pet store that's no longer on sixth and 12th. I saw him in the cage, circling in a giant mound of his own poop. And I just thought, "Oh my God, I just got to get him out of that cage. And got my credit card out and bought him.".
Where you thinking of getting a pet that day though?
I've been looking for a dog for a long time. I was trying to rescue a dog but I just couldn't find one.
What's he like?
He is very smart, very intuitive, very friendly, very jealous. I can't have people over without him bugging us. Right now, I think he's getting jealous of me talking. He's a goofball though.
Then Bosley started to get antsy. When I kneeled down to take his pictures, he started wiggling, running back and forth. He was being himself, a goofball.
