More Photos of Burnie:

After Linda left the dog park, I approached her to feature her Maltipoo dog named Burnie.

How old is Burnie?

He is a year and a half. I had him since he was ten weeks.

Why did you name him Burnie?

He was named after the Miami Heat mascot.

What is he like?

Very fun and he's very special, cuddly.

Where did you get him?

Upstate, NY.

Why did you get a dog?

Just to have someone else around is really nice. It has a calming

Is he your first pet on your own?

Yes. We've always had family pets.

(I then kneeled down to try to pet him, but Burnie moved away)

He's super cautious.

How long does it take for him to trust someone?

A coupe of times.

With other dogs, what's he like?

He loves other dogs. He goes to doggy daycare almost everyday so
he likes to see other dogs.

A mascot is suppose to bring good luck to the team or organization that it symbolizes.  For someone who was named after a mascot, Burnie seems to bring a smile on Linda's face. I'd say that's like good luck in this hectic city.
