Nancy and her Pomeranian named Trouble were enjoying the cool day in the dog park.
May I ask why you got a dog?
I've always had a dog. And the last one I had passed away, two years ago.
Where did you get him?
At puppy city or city pups in Chelsea. Once I let him out, he was very friendly and outgoing. I fell in love with him. And he had been there for a while.
Can you describe his personality some more?
He can be very sweet and then sometimes, if you don't take control he can be very demanding and independent. Most of the time, he's with me, he sits on the sofa with me, sleeps with me - he's a good companion.
Is there another story about him that you want to share?
About a week ago, when he got off his leash, he ran across 10th Avenue. My husband had to stop traffic because he was almost ran over by a truck.
He's not giving me enough trouble now. Maybe once I start taking his photos.
Once you get up to leave, he'll bark, 'cause he doesn't want you to leave. That's his pattern.
After I took Trouble's photos, I said goodbye to them. Then true to his pattern, Trouble started barking.
