UPDATE: January 24, 2015
After meeting over a hundred pets and their owners, I've recognized some of them on the streets. But this time, at a different dog park, I was able to take new pictures of Teddy and his guardian Greg again.
They still have that good rapport with each other. Teddy is still obedient, quiet and calm as I remember him.

While I was video taping the dogs at Pier 84, there was one dog who seemed gentle and obedient towards other dogs and especially to his master. As they were leaving, I approached the guy and asked if I can feature his pet. At first, I thought he was a trainer because he had a good rapport with his pet.
I found out that Teddy was adopted from Second Chance Rescue in Forrest Hills, Queens, last March 2014. He is two and half years old now.
When I was about to take the dog's picture, he asked Teddy to sit. And Teddy followed without hesitation. Then I took a couple of shots and asked more questions.
What's his personality like?
Friendly, wants to be friends with all the people. He always wants to play. Some dogs he wants to play with.
Does he have a preference for dogs?
It's hard to say. I used to think it was all about the shaggy-haired dog. But, it's unpredictable. When I first got him, he wasn't good at picking social cues from other dogs. And he has gotten a lot better at that over the last four months or so.
Then Teddy started moving around and his owner said, "Sit". Teddy followed his guardian willingly.
What an obedient Teddy!
