Why Did We Stop?
After weeks of cold and snow, a man and his dog were enjoying the first nice day on 43rd Street. I approached them and asked if I can photograph his English Springer Spaniel. The dog was suprised that they stopped and became antsy. The man said "Scout, sit!".
Hesitantly, he followed and slumped on the sidewalk with his front legs spread apart. While I was photographing him, he barked a few times. It was not an angry bark but more like asking me to hurry up. After I was done, Scout happily stood up and excitedly started walking with his guardian.
